Praise for Love So Fierce
I read this cover to cover the day it arrived. I had to put it down to attend to various things at home but all I wanted to do was come back to it to keep reading. A beautiful collection of poems that range from sweet, vulnerable, shocking, heart-wrenching, empowering and relatable af. So good. Loved every single page. Highly recommend.

Love so Fierce opens with such raw and deep thoughts and feelings that pulls the reader right in. As author Kelly Morrison says ‘when we read we see into a writer’s darkness and know their light….’ Kelly has woven words of silent, internal pain, love and fear into a beautiful personal tapestry that also portrays exquisite moments of calm and peace in lake water and ends with revelations of love and connections. This is an intensely personal read that invites the reader in to understand another’s world.

Kelly Morrison has written so candidly about her incredibly challenging decade. Her honesty about mental health, loss and pain will speak to so many. As a reader I could feel her fear. Her poetry will touch the lives of so many as they navigate the challenging (and stigmatized) experience of maternal mental illness. This book of poetry is a must read and a gift to the world.
